After serving 21years in the Australian Army including a posting to the Special Air Service Regiment, Tom Law was employed by Pine Rivers Shire Council as an Events Coordinator. In 2005 Tom left PRSC to start his own full time adventure business called ” Breakout Adventures” Experience gained in the military meant that Tom would work with corporates and professional sporting teams such as the Brisbane Lions AFL team, Sydney FC, Westpac Bank to name a few. Breakout Adventures was bought out by Spectrum Health and Fitness and Tom became the manager of the gym in the process.
In 2006 Tom in conjunction with the then CEO started a new fitness program called Corporate Commando. Today, the session is just called Commando and although Tom has left the gym his business is thriving. Based in Redcliffe but working in all areas of Moreton Bay Region. Tom not only runs his own programs but he is a regular contributor to MBRC outdoor recreational programs such as ” Active Kids” and “Spring in your Step” From a community point of view I am pleased to say that Tom‘s Law puts back into the local community in many ways but the most evident is the Free Community Program Tom runs every Wednesday at Youth Park Suttons Beach from 9am. It is absolutely free .
Tom‘s attendees are a very charitable group and give to the local community whey they can. They also support local business who in turn support them. Tom has a Certificate 3.and 4, of fitness and a Diploma of Fitness qualification. He was awarded an Order of Australia Medal whilst in the services for his services to training in the Army with the Royal Australian Corps of Signals.
